To find the treasure chest using the treasure map, you’ll need a device called a GPS. This device shows your current location in XYZ coordinates at the bottom of the screen when equipped. The GPS can be found on the starting island. To the right of the merchant, you’ll see a small pond; near the pond, you’ll find a chair with the GPS on it, which can be purchased for 100 credits.
The GPS is fairly inexpensive and can be bought by selling just one fish. This device is essential for locating the treasure chest; without it, you won’t be able to find one. Once you’ve bought the GPS, hold it in your hand, and you’ll see three numbers at the bottom of the screen.
The first number is your X-coordinate, which increases or decreases based on your left and right or east and west movement. The second number is your Y-coordinate, which changes based on vertical movement.
