Incantation is a horror game inspired by the Taiwanese movie of the same name, where a mother searches for her lost daughter in a strange, cultic village. At the beginning of the game, you will encounter a few simple puzzles, such as opening a locked safe and escaping through a garage filled with mannequins. Below, you will find a brief guide on how to find the code and solve the light puzzle.
Incantation How To Find The Kitchen Safe Code
After placing the sacrificial clay figurine at the altar, you will come across a house where a person locks the door and goes inside. The key to one of the locked doors will be located on a randomly spawned mannequin behind you. Use the key to unlock the door and enter the kitchen of the house.
In the kitchen, you will find a locked safe with one of the buttons missing. Beside the safe, you will notice stairs leading up. While going upstairs, you will find numbers scribbled on the wall, with only the “5” clearly visible. Before the “5,” you can also discern the number “1.”
On the first floor, in one of the rooms, you will find a page from a diary. In the diary, you will see the number “73” written, and nearby, you will find a hatch leading to a room downstairs. Go down to find a box puzzle where you need to rotate the dials to form the incantation symbol to open it. Inside, you will find the missing button for the locked safe.
Refer to the image above to identify the symbol you need to create by rotating the dials to open the puzzle box. After obtaining the missing button, return to the kitchen with the locked safe. Attach the missing button to the safe and enter the code “7315” to unlock it.
Garage Lights Puzzle Solution
Once you have obtained the homeowner key, a cutscene will play. After the cutscene, you will find yourself in a garage with the homeowner running away and surrounded by lots of mannequins. To exit the garage, you must solve the light puzzle by turning off three lights and then opening the garage door.
Turning off one of the lights will cause the mannequins to start moving when you’re not looking at them. You need to act quickly to turn off all three lights and open the garage door. If a mannequin catches you after turning off the lights, the homeowner will appear and kill you.
The best path to turn off all the lights is to first stand near the garage door and look back. Then, proceed along the left side while hugging the wall to find the first light switch. Keep moving forward and turn right to locate the second light. After turning off the second light, look back and run straight ahead to find the third light. Once all the lights are turned off, quickly return to the garage door and open it to complete the light puzzle.
